On the occasion of the 2023 winter edition, Tatsuya Nakamura, Executive Officer and Creative Director of the famous Japanese chain of fashion stores Beams, also visited the Pitti stands to discover new trends.
Like every year, and for many editions now, Nakamura is one of the most anticipated guests of Pitti Uomo. After a forced absence of a few years due to the restrictions caused by the pandemic, Nakamura returned to Florence for the 2023 winter edition.
To welcome him, a friend and partner for many years: Vincenzo Attolini.
The two have known each other and have been working together for more than 40 years, a very long period in which they have built a relationship based on deep mutual respect.
Both are considered profound connoisseurs of the Neapolitan and Japanese sartorial techniques, respectively, and have been working consistently for years to spread the knowledge of sartorial art.
At the end of the event, Mr. Nakamura was a guest of Vincenzo Attolini. The creative director of Stile Latino has organised an evening dedicated to the authentic goodness of Tuscan cuisine to bring his family and his Japanese guests together at the table.
The creative directors, Nakamura and Attolini, share a past that unites them: both come, in fact, from families operating in the clothing sector.
Vincenzo and Nakamura are united by a bond that goes beyond the distances that separate Naples from Tokyo. Their friendship is renewed at every meeting: Vincenzo Attolini never misses an opportunity to teach Nakamura some Neapolitan-style advice, and Nakamura returns the favour through his stylistic choices that have allowed the diffusion of Stile Latino garments throughout Japan.
Asia is confirmed, without any doubt, as the geographical area within which Stile Latino garments are most appreciated, as they are considered a winning example of quality Italian tailoring.
The dinner, on a winter evening in Florence, revealed the bond between the two entrepreneurs, who are ready to meet on the next special occasion.
