Jackets / Coats

HOW TO TAKE MEASUREMENTS:

Lay one of your jackets/coats down on a table, buttoned up fully, with the front and the arms facing up. Smooth out and flatten the fabric of the garment using the hands.

  1. BUTTONED WAIST WIDTH

    Measure straight across from the left edge to the right edge of the jacket, by positioning the measuring tape at the central button, making sure to keep the tape properly taut.

  2. SLEEVE LENGTH

    Starting from the top of the shoulder, measure the full length of the sleeve by placing the measurement tape to pass right through the middle button till the opposite edge.

    Make sure to keep the measuring tape properly taut.

  3. SHOULDER WIDTH

    Starting from the top of the shoulder seam, follow the seam until you reach the junction with the collar. Make sure to keep the measuring tape properly taut.

  4. CENTER BACK LENGTH

    Lay the jacket down on a table, buttoned up fully, with the back facing down, the sleeves positioned along the sides and the collar popped up. Gently stretch out and flatten the fabric of the garment with your hands.

    Starting from the intersection of the back between the center back seam and the collar, run the measurement tape down along the center back seam and measure across the full length till the bottom hem of the jacket.

     Make sure to keep the measuring tape properly taut.

Trousers

HOW TO TAKE MEASUREMENTS:

  1. WAIST WIDTH

    Lay a pair of your trousers down on a flat surface, buttoned up fully and with the fly zipped close facing upwards. Use your hands to gently stretch out and flatten the fabric. Measure across the top of the waistband from the left side to the other.

  2. OUTER LEG LENGTH EXCLUDING THE STRAP

    Fold the trousers on one side.

    Measure across from the side end of the leg, just below the waistband, to the trousers bottom hem following the outermost seam.

  3. BOTTOM WIDTH

    Lay the trouser hem down on a flat surface. Gently flatten out the fabric with your hands so that it lies well taut. Measure the full width of the hem from end to end at the widest point.

    Make sure to keep the measuring tape properly taut.

Shirts

HOW TO TAKE MEASUREMENTS:

  1. WAIST WIDTH
    Lay one of your shirts down on a flat surface, buttoned up fully facing upwards and with the arms in their natural position, pointing downwards.Measure straight across at the height of the fifth button from the left edge of the shirt to the right one and make sure to keep the measurement tape properly taut.
  2. SLEEVE LENGTH

    Lay one of your shirts down on a flat surface, buttoned up fully and facing upwards, with the arms in their natural position, pointing downwards.

    Measure straight across the length from the shoulder to the end edge of the cuff, placing the measurement tape as close as possible to the seam where the sleeve meets the shoulder. Make sure to take the measurement from side to side at the widest point and pull the tape taut.

  3. CHEST WIDTH

    Lay one of your shirts down on a flat surface, buttoned up fully, facing upwards with the arms pointing upwards.

    Measure across from the lowest point of the left armpit to the same point on the right side. Make sure to keep the measuring tape properly taut.

  4. POINT-TO-POINT SHOULDER WIDTH

    Lay one of your shirts down on a flat surface, buttoned up fully facing upwards and with the arms in their natural position, pointing downwards.

    Measure across from the point where the sleeve seam meets the shoulder seam to the same point on the other side of the shirt.

    Be sure to measure from side to side at the widest point and keep the tape properly taut.

  5. SHIRT LENGTH

    Lay one of your shirts down on a flat surface, buttoned up fully with the button border laid flat and the back facing up.

    Lift the collar.

    Measure  straight down from the middle of the collar base, by placing the measurement tape where the middle of the back and the seams of the collar meet, down to the hem at its longest point.

    Be sure to measure from side to side at the widest point and keep the tape properly taut.
